On Saturday, November 23rd, our Cairns Muay Thai fighters headed to Adelaide for the Pride Fight Series. With Coach Paul leading the charge, our fighters Nicole, Aiden, Brayden, and Bella showcased their skill, heart, and dedication in the ring.
The event marked a milestone as Aiden became the first sponsored athlete to receive an all-expenses-paid trip through the Combat Sports Association Inc. fundraising program. Aiden made the most of this opportunity, delivering a standout performance and securing a hard-earned victory.
Nicole stepped into the ring with determination and showcased her dominance, landing heavy shots that overwhelmed her opponent. Her skill and aggression earned her a decisive win.
Brayden brought the fireworks with a first-round TKO. A thunderous elbow secured an eight-count, and his opponent’s corner chose to call the fight before the second round, handing Brayden a well-deserved victory.
Bella fought an entertaining back-and-forth match, displaying grit and determination. Unfortunately, the split points decision didn’t go her way, as her opponent edged her out with strength and precision on the day.
Coach Paul assisted in the corner of our friends from Only Human in Victo Harbour. Taylor came away with a very impressive win.
We are incredibly proud of the entire team for their efforts and performances. This trip to Adelaide marks the conclusion of our away Muay Thai events for 2024. However, we’re not done yet! Our final show of the year, Built2Fight: The Return, hosted right here at Pretty Top Team, is just around the corner.
A huge thank you to the Pride Fight Series for hosting an incredible event and to all our supporters for making this journey possible. Stay tuned for more updates as we close out 2024 with a bang!
