Sunstate Boxing QLD State Titles Recap – Townsville 20th-21st Sept

What a weekend for the Pretty Top Team boxing crew at the Sunstate Boxing Queensland State Titles in Townsville. With two athletes making the trip—Cooper and Cam—we came home with a statement win and valuable ring time.

🥇 Cooper claims the title

• Saturday (Semi-Final): Cooper put on a dominant display to book his place in Sunday’s final.

• Sunday (Final): Up against a strong opponent from a well-known Townsville gym, Cooper stayed composed, applied smart pressure, and scored two standing eight counts on his opponent to secure the win. A brilliant performance and a well-earned Queensland state title for Cooper.

🔄 Cam’s exhibition with a veteran

Matchmaking didn’t fall Cam’s way this time, but he still made the most of the weekend with an exhibition bout against veteran Mark Snook. High-quality rounds, great learning—excellent experience to bring back to the gym.
